What's the deal with America and pushing Christmas earlier than it should be? Seriously, the people of Jersey City started putting up stuff mid-last week. It seems that people need to actually acknowledge Christmas in the streets so it can "flow" into their homes and get them in the "mood" of the Holiday. I'm not complaining personally, I think Christmas is more of a hands-on holiday than may others around this time. It's like the only one that people can celebrate and not feel a religious tie to it which is a good and bad thing.

Myself, I celebrate the real meaning of Christmas through giving presents. As they say it's better to give than to receive. Sometimes that true, but anyway, the purpose of this Holiday to appreciate those who are important to you by giving them something tangible. For many this year ( as it has been for the last couple of years ) it's been getting harder and harder to make the Holiday Merry, but hey my generation will understand.

Nevertheless, this recession ( whether you're experiencing it or not ) will be like a bad dream that we all woke up from, just like the Great Depression.

Is it illegal to complain to the City Council about putting up Christmas stuff to early?!
